A Day Dedicated to legumES

LegumES researchers spent an inspiring day with Portuguese high school students, exploring the world of legumes – from farm to plate. Discussion on agroecosystem functions was followed by a visit to the local food market, where students identified different legumes, and spoke directly with stall owners to uncover interesting facts. The day ended with a hands-on cooking workshop at a local restaurant preparing chickpea curry, and an aquafaba chocolate mousse dessert.
