In legume farming, eco-design focuses on optimizing management practices, selecting suitable organic fertilization strategies, and using tools like life cycle assessment (LCA) to minimize environmental impacts. This approach can reduce dependency on synthetic fertilizers and lower greenhouse gas emissions.
By applying LCA and modular design frameworks, the study aims to optimize legume farming, balancing productivity with ecological sustainability. The research draws from previous agricultural sectors like viticulture to develop environmentally efficient solutions.
