The environmental potential of lupin co-products for biogas legumes co-product use as feed for biogas compared to waste The legumES project was present at the 2nd National Legume Congress in Leipzig, where we shared insights on the utilization of lupin hulls as a co-product of protein production, analyzed from a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) perspective. This approach highlights the sustainable use of lupin co-product, reinforcing the environmental benefits associated with legume cultivation and processing. Our participation aimed to engage with experts, exchange knowledge, and emphasize the potential of legumes in promoting eco-friendly agricultural practices.
